Research: China’s top ten semiconductor equipment manufacturers’ Q3 revenue increased by 36% year-on-year

Zhitong Finance reported that according to statistics released by CINNO Research on the 7th, the top 10 market sizes of China's semiconductor equipment manufacturers in the third quarter of 2023 (the ranking includes integrated circuit front-end manufacturing, back-end packaging and testing, and LED and other power device equipment manufacturers, excluding solar energy). Industry equipment manufacturers) total revenue exceeded 10.9 billion yuan (RMB, the same below), an annual increase of 36% and a quarterly increase of 23%. Among them, Northern Huachuang is China's leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer, with semiconductor revenue of approximately 5.4 billion yuan in the third quarter, far exceeding other equipment manufacturers, ranking first; China Microelectronics Corporation ranked second, and Amei Shanghai ranked third; Zhongke Feichai, which was launched this year, entered the TOP10 for the first time, ranking eighth.

Judging from the third quarter rankings:

1. Northern Huachuang is China's leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer, mainly engaged in semiconductor equipment, vacuum equipment, electronic components, etc. Its semiconductor business covers major semiconductor manufacturing equipment such as etching, deposition, and cleaning. In the third quarter, semiconductor equipment-related revenue 5.36 billion yuan, an annual increase of 50.5%, firmly ranking first in China.

2. China Microsystems focuses on semiconductor etching equipment and deposition equipment. In the third quarter, semiconductor equipment-related revenue was 1.52 billion yuan, an annual increase of 41.5%.

3. Shengmei Shanghai focuses on semiconductor cleaning equipment and advanced packaging wet-process equipment. In recent years, it has begun to enter deposition equipment. In the third quarter, semiconductor equipment-related revenue was 1.14 billion yuan, an annual increase of 29.2%.

4. Tuojing Technology focuses on semiconductor thin film deposition equipment. Its main products include PECVD, ALD and SACVD equipment. In the third quarter, semiconductor equipment-related revenue was 700 million yuan, an annual increase of 49.2%.

5. Huahai Qingke mainly produces chemical mechanical polishing equipment, which is suitable for key processes in wafer manufacturing and advanced packaging. In the third quarter, semiconductor equipment-related revenue was 610 million yuan, an annual increase of 45.6%.

6. Xinyuan Micro mainly operates wet process equipment in semiconductor wafer manufacturing, including glue development, etching, cleaning equipment, etc. In the third quarter, semiconductor equipment-related revenue was 510 million yuan, an annual increase of 30.2%.

7. Changchuan Technology mainly sells semiconductor testing equipment, including testing machines, sorting machines, probe stations, etc. In the third quarter, semiconductor equipment-related revenue was 450 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 21%.

8. Zhongke Feicheng is mainly engaged in program control equipment for integrated circuits. Its products mainly include non-patterned wafer defect detection equipment series, patterned wafer defect detection equipment series, three-dimensional topography measurement equipment series, and thin film thickness measurement equipment. series of products were launched in May this year. In the third quarter, semiconductor equipment-related revenue was 220 million yuan, an annual increase of 62.4%.

9. Pure Technology’s main business includes high-purity process integration systems, semiconductor wet process equipment, optical sensing and optical devices, etc. In the third quarter, semiconductor equipment-related business revenue was 220 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 21.3%.

10. Xinyichang’s main business is die bonding machines for packaging, capacitor aging test equipment, etc. It has a leading position in the field of LED die bonding machines in China. In the third quarter, semiconductor equipment-related revenue was 200 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 27.1%.
