The Industrial Research Institute of Obstetrics and Technology expects that the semiconductor industry is expected to rebound next year, with global semiconductor output value reaching NT$580.9 billion, an annual increase of 12.6%; Taiwan's semiconductor output value will reach NT$4.9 trillion, a new high, an increase of 14.1%.

Fan Zhehao said that as the demand for artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing and other applications continues to push forward, Taiwan's semiconductor industry is expected to get rid of the poor market situation and gradually resume positive growth. In terms of semiconductor design, Fan Zhehao said that communication applications continue to dominate the semiconductor market, automotive semiconductors will be the application field with the largest growth rate of semiconductors in the future, and the influence of generative AI continues to expand.
 
 

In terms of manufacturing, advanced semiconductor process technology will promote terminal application revolution and market competition.
