Nvidia GTC 2025 (GPU Technology Conference) kicks off tonight. This event brings together many Nvidia product experts from the technology community to share seminars and keynote speeches. Investors can get professional insights and feasible trading alerts from senior investment experts and hedge fund managers.
The timing of this conference is critical for investors. Nvidia's stock price has experienced a significant decline over the past month, and uncertainty has put pressure on financial markets. Nvidia is in need of a growth catalyst to lead a stock price rebound. What is exciting is that Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will unveil important information at GTC 2025, which is expected to inject momentum into the stock.
Based on past experience, each GTC conference usually launches amazing GPU chips. In the past two years, under the AI trend, data center AI chips have been launched, which have faster computing performance than previous generation products and unexpected AI functions. To continue the trend, Nvidia is expected to launch the new Blackwell Ultra, a more advanced version of the existing Blackwell chip.
According to foreign media reports, at Nvidia's recent financial report meeting, Huang Renxun confirmed that the next-generation Blackwell B300 series, code-named Blackwell Ultra, will be released in the second half of the year. In addition to higher computing performance, Blackwell Ultra also comes with more memory (288GB), which is undoubtedly an attractive feature for customers who want to run and train AI models that require a lot of memory.
However, this isn’t the only GPU update Nvidia fans can look forward to. Huang will likely also mention Vera Rubin, the company's next-generation GPU family. He has publicly stated that Vera Rubin will represent a huge leap in computing performance. And because of these significant advances in GPUs, Nvidia will undoubtedly once again consolidate its leading position in graphics processing and AI computing.
Quantum computing will feature heavily at Nvidia GTC 202. In addition to AI chips, Nvidia is also likely to provide the latest progress. Thursday, the 20th, is Nvidia’s first Quantum Day, where Huang will share the stage with leaders from D-Wave Systems (QBTS), IonQ (IONQ), and Rigetti Computing (RGTI). Industry leaders will discuss the current availability of quantum computing and the direction of quantum technology development. This discussion is particularly important at a time when quantum computing has made significant progress.
A few months before the conference, Huang Renxun speculated that practical quantum computing would take at least 15 to 20 years, but D-Wave CEO Alan Baratz disagreed, saying that the Nvidia Quantum Day discussion might provide more information on quantum technology and the importance of several recent quantum breakthroughs.
In addition to the above highlights, NVIDIA GTC 2025 is also expected to bring robotics technology, agent-capable AI, and progress in autonomous driving. All in all, NVIDIA GTC 2025 will be a technology event with rich content and full of highlights. From the latest AI chip Blackwell Ultra and the next-generation GPU Vera Rubin, to the debut of Quantum Day, as well as the latest advances in areas such as robotics, agent AI and autonomous driving, all will attract the attention of the technology industry, investors and consumers. Whether the results of this conference, especially after the important speech by CEO Huang Renxun, can bring the long-awaited rebound to Nvidia's stock price as expected will be the focus of market attention for some time to come.
