The Taiwan International Circuit Board Exhibition TPCA Show officially opened today (23rd) (see picture). TPCA Chairman Li Changming said that this year is the 25th anniversary of the TPCA Show. This year, there are a total of 1,600 booths on display, bringing together nearly 40,000 international visitors. Professional buyers believe that under the trend of AI technology, the PCB industry will usher in broad development opportunities. In 2023, global PCB will be affected by high inflation, leading to a comprehensive decline. TPCA stated that the highlights of this year's exhibition are with the theme of "Innovative AI in PCB", including key technology fields such as AI, 5G, high-speed computing, carrier board technology, servers, base stations, net-zero carbon emissions and electric vehicles, reflecting the development of the electronics industry. The latest technology trends and market pulse.
 

In addition, Li Changming said that due to the influence of geopolitics and in response to customer demand, the PCB industry has begun to see a wave of southbound investment since the end of 2020. Among them, Thailand has invested the most. Production capacity has been gradually opened in Q4 this year, which is expected to further increase the output value of Thailand's PCB. The market share will increase from 3% in 2020 to nearly 5% in 2025.
 

Li Changming said that when we go to Thailand, international talent and supply chain integrity are the most important issues at the moment. TPCA has also signed MOUs with many Thai universities to launch a training plan for Thai scientific and technological talents.
