According to the data, semiconductor sales in the Americas increased significantly by 40.1% year-on-year in July, while semiconductor sales in Europe and Japan fell in July compared with the same period last year. SIA President and CEO John Neuffer said that the global semiconductor market continued to grow significantly in July, with monthly sales increasing for the fourth consecutive month. Growth in the American market was particularly strong in July, with sales increasing by 40.1% year-on-year; in addition, in terms of sales data for three consecutive months, the American market achieved an 18.0% growth, while Europe once again became the only region to decline, with a decrease of 2.4%.
